Stay Offers
Six of them. A room, plus something the hotel already does — not a discount dressed up as an event.
Each one is a room plus something we already do — a breakfast, a boat, a treatment, a car up a gravel road. There is no minimum stay beyond the nights stated, no membership, and nothing that requires you to set foot in The Ben Lomond Room unless the package says so, and only one of the six does.
Prices are per package for two people unless stated, include GST, and hold until the end of the season they are listed in. They are not available with any other rate. If a package is not right, phone reservations on +64 3 450 2755 and ask for the parts of it you want; we would rather build you something than sell you something.
| May & June | Quietest of the year. Everything available, and the frost on the terrace is at its best. |
|---|---|
| Jul–Sep | Ski season. Coronet Peak shuttle from the door at 7.40am. Book early. |
| Oct–Nov | Long light, tracks open, nobody about. Our own favourite. |
| Dec–Feb | Busy. Stone fruit, swimming, and the deck full by five. |

Two nights in a Frankton Arm Room, breakfast for two in The Kawarau Room both mornings, and the hotel bicycles for as long as you want them. The Frankton Track runs flat from our gate to the Queenstown Gardens in twenty-five minutes and the other way to the marina in twenty.

The same two nights with a car and a driver up the Skippers Road to the old gold workings above the Shotover. Twenty-two kilometres of single-lane gravel cut into the schist, with no barrier on the drop side. Most rental agreements are void on that road, which is exactly why we would rather drive it than have you try.

Two nights with The Sunshine Bay Bathhouse added: unlimited use of the 16 m lap pool and the two hot tubs on the north deck, and one 50-minute treatment each, booked at a time that suits you rather than one that suits us.

One night, and dinner for two in The Kawarau Room — five courses from the set menu, which changes when the growers change it and not on a schedule. Best taken midweek, and midweek is when we would suggest it.

Two nights with breakfast and NZ$40 of gaming credit for The Ben Lomond Room. The credit is loaded at reception when you check in. It is not transferable, it cannot be exchanged for cash, it does not roll over to a second visit, and it is not available to anyone under twenty.

Per person, per day, in The Cecil Peak Room or The Kelvin Room. Room hire from eight until five, morning and afternoon tea, a working lunch in The Kawarau Room, and a projector we have never had to apologise for. Minimum ten people.
One of the six packages includes NZ$40 for The Ben Lomond Room. It is there because guests ask for it, and it is capped, fixed and small on purpose.
